Lead Guide and Owner
I grew up in California in a family where mountain activities were the main focus of our lives. When I was a child, my parents and cousins introduced me to ski touring in the Sierras and hiking and climbing in Yosemite Valley.
I have spent the past 13 years working as a professional Mountain Guide and Coach in various destinations around the world. I’m passionate about helping others achieve their own goals, and safety is always my top priority whether we’re climbing or traveling in the backcountry.

Canadian Rockies Guide
I have been living in Banff National Park for over 10 years and am a fully-certified Association of Canadian Mountain Guides Alpine Guide.
I also hold a Canadian Avalanche Association Level 2 and a Wilderness First Responder certification. I am an expert on all areas and conditions in the Canadian Rockies.
My knowledge extends past the mountains to the local hotels, restaurants and bars.
I was fortunate to grow up in Seattle, with the Cascade Mountains always close by. I have been skiing since before my earliest memories, and I started climbing— first on glaciated peaks and then on steep rock— before I was a teenager.
When I was twelve, I realized that climbing mountains was what I really wanted to do with my life, and ever since I have been extremely focused on my alpine climbing goals. I am not ashamed to admit I’m a full-blown climbing nerd!
